  • 新北市一名騎士於上午11時往基隆方向，行駛經台2線濱海公路75.3公里時於化學槽車與貨櫃車的中間。後方化學槽車司機駕駛時突然失控，撞上了騎士後向前繼續行駛，再撞上前方的貨櫃車。及後，騎士被夾在兩車中間，在當場撞傷死亡。[2]
  • 總統蔡英文同日前往海拔2，620公尺的樂山雷達站巡視指導，並表示長程飛彈的預警是國防任務重中之重。國安幕僚指出，蔡總統同日前往樂山雷達站，視察守衛樂山雷達站的防空連，「具有重要的戰略意義」。樂山雷達站所監控的範圍，幾乎含括東北亞至東南亞地區，特別在近期一段時間，中國的軍事行動頻頻，樂山雷達站的工作，就是精準掌握導彈及衛星等各項空中訊息，進行精準預判，並即時給予各單位最迅速的情資，讓各單位能夠迅速應變。[3]

  • 台大與台灣人工智慧實驗室等單位合作，透過科技部經費支持，自已知臨床安全性藥物為起點，以生物資訊技術，進行作用目標蛋白及藥物化合物親和力模擬預測，並將結果建立成DockCoV2資料庫，公開讓全球醫學研究團隊參考使用，利加速COVID-19疫情的解方搜尋[4][5][6]。

發生空軍F-5E戰機墜毀事故，一架隸屬中華民國空軍編號5261的F-5E戰鬥機當日上午於台東執行任務，起飛不到2分鐘因發動機失效墜落志航基地北面1浬海域，飛官朱冠甍上尉跳傘落海，經搶救不治殉職[10]。
