疱疹病毒科（Herpesviridae）是一類雙鏈DNA病毒，以羊膜動物為宿主[1]，其中有部分病毒可感染人類，造成單純疱疹與生殖器疱疹（單純疱疹病毒第一型（HSV-1）與第二型（HSV-2）感染）、水痘與帶狀疱疹（水痘-带状疱疹病毒感染）、傳染性單核白血球增多症（EBV病毒感染）等病，在人類中相當常見，亦有少數病毒為感染鳥類或爬行類。
分類
[编辑]截至2020年，國際病毒分類委員會（ICTV）將疱疹病毒科分為三個亞科共17個屬和一個未定屬的種[2][3]。
- 甲型疱疹病毒亞科 Alphaherpesvirinae
- 乙型疱疹病毒亞科 Betaherpesvirinae
- 丙型疱疹病毒亞科 Gammaherpesvirinae
- 美洲鬣蜥皰疹病毒二型 Iguanid herpesvirus 2（地位未定）
感染人類
[编辑]已知疱疹病毒科有九種病毒可造成人類疾病，這類病毒被統稱為人類疱疹病毒（Human Herpesvirus），簡稱為HHV[4][5][6]。
