太极峡

太极峡原名双龙峡，因东西走向的两座山（青龙山和黄龙山）对峙成峡而得名，太极峡位于湖北省丹江口市石鼓镇，景区总面积40平方公里，地处丹江口水库西部，淅川香严寺南部。 [1]2008年太极峡因具有丹霞地貌特征而被劈为湖北省地质公园，2010年11月被中国国家旅游局列为国家4A级旅游景区。[2]
