八仙洞 (淅川县)

八仙洞位于河南省淅川县马蹬镇境内，地处丹江口水库东岸。八仙洞是一处喀斯特地貌，形成于寒武纪，距今大概有两亿多年的历史。相传有八位仙人曾在此修炼而得名。八仙洞的地质地貌兼中国北方溶洞和南方溶洞的特点于一身，既有北方溶洞的神秀的特点，又有南方溶洞高达之特点。 [1]
