贻贝属（学名：Mytilus），台湾称“壳菜蛤属”，是贻贝科（台湾称“壳菜蛤科”）下的一个属，分布于世界各地。贻贝属下的生物是皆可食用的海生贝类。[1]北美洲土著在一万二千年前就开始养殖贻贝了。 [2]
