Emmabuntüs是基于Ubuntu/Debian的Linux操作系统，旨在为捐赠给人道主义组织[5]（如Emmaüs）的翻新电脑提供一个轻量级的、对新手友好的操作系统，以延长机器的寿命。[6][7][8][9]
Emmabuntüs这个名字是Emmaüs和Ubuntu的混合。
