龙目海峡的位置
龙目海峡（Lombok Strait），位于印度尼西亚小巽他群岛的西努沙登加拉省，是一个位处龙目岛和峇厘岛之间的海峡，北接爪哇海，南接印度洋。吉利群岛位于海峡靠近龙目岛的一方，在龙目岛的西北部。
海峡的最窄点位于南部的开口，在龙目岛和珀尼达岛之间，相距18公里；北部的开口约40公里宽。整个海峡全长约60公里。由于海峡的水深有250米[1]，比马六甲海峡还要深，所以成为巨型油轮通行的黄金水道。
