鬼宿一Theta Cancri拉丁化的名称是θ Cancri)是位于黄道星座巨蟹座多星系统[7][3]。它是肉眼可见的一个暗淡光点,视星等为+5.32[2]。基于视差的观测,这个系统距离太阳大约450光年之遥[1],并且正在以+44km/s的径向速度远离太阳[4]。由于它靠近黄道,因此可以被月亮掩蔽 [8],但被行星掩蔽则很罕见。

主星鬼宿一A,是颗K型巨星,其恒星分类为K5 III[3],已经耗尽其核心的氢气供应,然后冷却并膨胀。目前,它的周长已经是太阳的40倍[1]。它正以3,955 K有效温度[1]辐射出353倍的太阳光度[1]
