加里·马歇尔（英语：Garry Marshall[1]，1934年11月13日—2016年7月19日[2]），原名加里·肯恩·马夏雷利（Garry Kent Masciarelli）美国演员、导演、编剧及监制，所执导的知名作品包括《对头冤家》、《风月俏佳人》、《逃跑新娘》和《公主日记》等。
2016年7月19日，他肺炎发作，而在加里福尼亚州的伯班克一间医院过世，享寿81岁[3][4]。
早年生活
[编辑]加里生于纽约的布朗克斯，母亲马乔里·艾琳（Marjorie Irene）是位踢踏舞教师，打理自己的舞蹈学校。其他家庭成员都从事电影或电视工作，父亲安东尼·华莱士·马歇尔（Anthony Wallace Marshal）是位导演和电影监制[5]，妹妹潘妮·马歇尔（Penny Marshall）是位演员兼导演，另一位妹妹罗尼·马歇尔·哈林（Ronny Marshall Hallin）是个电视制片人。
他的父亲拥有意大利血统，早年由意大利基耶蒂省一个名叫圣马尔蒂诺苏拉马鲁奇纳的市镇移居美国[6]，本姓马夏雷利（Masciarelli），加里出生前改姓马歇尔（Marshall）[7]；他的母亲则为威尔士及爱尔兰裔混血儿[8][9]。
加里年幼时受基督教长老宗洗礼，曾一度归顺路德宗[10]，中学时入读德威特克林顿高中（DeWitt Clinton High School），与创作蜘蛛侠的漫画家是史蒂夫·迪特科（Steve Ditko）是同学。毕业后到西北大学继续学业，课余为西北日报（The Daily Northwestern）撰写体育专栏。
职业生涯
[编辑]加里为喜剧演员乔伊·毕晓普（Joey Bishop）和菲尔·福斯特（Phil Foster）撰写剧本出道，之后为知名深宵节目《今夜秀》（The Tonight Show）当编剧。1961年移居好莱坞，开始与杰里·贝尔森（Jerry Belson）合作，为电视节目撰写剧本，二人创作了不少经典的情景喜剧，包括：《The Dick Van Dyke Show》、《The Joey Bishop Show》、《The Danny Thomas Show》、《The Lucy Show》等等[11]。
加里打篮球时认识了赫克托·埃里仲杜（Héctor Elizondo），自1980年代起赫克托经常在加里执导的电影中出现[12][13]。
