第二可数空间

第二可数空间是指有一个可数拓扑空间,我们也将“具备可数基”这一性质当作一条公理(第二可数性公理)放在第二可数空间的定义中(与“有限交,任意并”一同)。

  • 若一个空间是第二可数的,它亦是第一可数可分Lindelöf的。
    • 这里不是“当且仅当”的。例子有Sorgenfrey直线。
  • 第二可数性是可传子的。
  • 有无限个第二可数空间,若只有可数个是平凡拓扑空间,则这些空间的积空间是第二可数空间。
  • 第二可数空间的基数不大于无限可数集的幂集的基数。
