竹子脚，原写为竹仔脚，是台湾嘉义县鹿草乡的一个地名，位于该乡西部。就行政区而言，范围大致包括松竹村、竹山村东侧。

历史

本地昔日有汉人迁入恳居，命名为“竹埜”，清治后期至日治初期间，行政上为隶属盐水港厅白须公潭堡之“竹仔脚庄”。战后易名“竹子脚”，嗣分为松竹村及竹山村。

交通

本地区有县县道163号、县道170号、乡道嘉36-1线经过。

学校

本地区有一间小学：嘉义县鹿草乡竹园国民小学。

庙宇

本地居民多信奉台湾传统信仰，境内有慈德寺、保安宫、开台圣王府等庙宇。
