白沙澳何氏旧居
何氏旧居位于香港大埔区西贡北白沙澳，是何氏族人于1911至1915年间兴建的大宅。何氏旧居的门楼、更楼、厢房、何氏祠堂及其两侧厢房于2010年11月10日获确认为一级历史建筑[1]。
历史
白沙澳面对海下湾，是一条古老村庄。何氏旧居主人何氏兄弟约于19世纪末在英国轮船上担任海员工头和烧火，其后开设荐人馆，介绍船上工作，自此积聚财富，并在原居地兴建大宅和祠堂，代替原来细小残破的旧宅。日占时期大宅曾被日军占据。直至1929或1930年，大宅更楼的底层一直作书堂之用。1970年代末，大部分何氏族人移居海外，大宅因此空置。自1980年代中起，大宅便给外国人租用作为居所[2]。但时至今日，何氏家族仍会在重阳节时返回祠堂拜祭祖先。
