四川龙属属名Szechuanosaurus)是兽脚亚目恐龙的一。牠们生存于侏罗纪晚期(牛津阶启莫里阶)的亚洲[1]。牠的外表有点像小型的异特龙,身长约8米。化石是四颗难以鉴定的牙齿,发现于沙溪庙组,目前状态是疑名[2]。一些古生物学家认为四川龙是疑名,原因是虽然那些牙齿很独特,但其他身体骨骸有可能是属于其他的属[3]

发现及物种

四川龙属有两个已命名的物种模式种甘氏四川龙S. campi)及自贡四川龙S. zigongensis)。甘氏四川龙是由杨锺健在1942年所命名,当时根据一些不相关的牙齿[4]。这些牙齿目前被认为无法鉴定,有效性成疑[5]。在1978年,董枝明等人将一个部分身体骨骼(编号 CV 00214)非正式地命名为盐都四川龙(S. "yandonensis"),当时是个无资格名称。在1983年,董枝明对这化石进行详细研究,并编入于甘氏四川龙[6]。这个身体骨骼只经过简略叙述,无法确定详细分类。在2004年的一份种系发生学研究,发现四川龙是最基础的坚尾龙类[7]。这个身体骨骼是种中型兽脚类恐龙,坐骨长42公分;而皮亚尼兹基龙的坐骨长42.3公分,体重估计约504公斤[5]。在2012年,一群科学家将这个标本改编入于上游永川龙[8]

董枝明等人在1978年命名的剑阁龙Chienkosaurus ceratosauroides)也被重新归类于甘氏四川龙,但有些学者则指出剑阁龙其实是一个独立的属。在1993年命名的自贡四川龙(S. zigongensis),化石是一个几乎完整的身体骨骼,生存年代为稍早的侏罗纪中期。由于跟甘氏四川龙有差异,可能需要建立为新属[5]。在2012年,同一群科学家将自贡四川龙改归类于永川龙属[8]
