纳菲尔德学院（英语：Nuffield College，/ˈnʌfiːld/） 是英国牛津大学学院之一，专门研究社会科学（尤其是经济学、政治学和社会学），成立于1937年，规模不大。
历史
纳菲尔德学院创立于1937年，由莫里斯汽车公司创始人威廉·莫里斯提供经费。1937年11月16日，牛津大学与之签订协议。[3] 莫里斯在牛津城堡附近的新路上为学院买得一块土地。[4] 同时他还捐赠了900,000英镑[n 1] 用作起始资金并建造学院建筑。[3][6] 为此1949年《时代》杂志将他评为“自中世纪以来大学最伟大的施主”。[7]
该学院是牛津大学第一个一开始就男女共学的学院，也是最早有现代意义上科目（社会科学）的学院之一。

奥斯丁·哈里斯是该学院建筑的建筑师，他最初的设计受到了地中海建筑的强烈影响，于是被莫里斯以“非英伦”之由否决。[6] 于是哈里斯修改了设计图，使得其符合了爵士的要求。[6] 1940年莫里斯批准该方案，1949年始建，1960年完工，工作的延迟要归因于二战后对建筑物的限制，且由于材料不足等原因，选址还一度改变。其图书馆建筑是牛津200年内建造的唯一一座塔，高150英尺（46米），顶部有尖顶。建筑周围有两个方庭，有学生及教员宿舍。教堂中有约翰·派博设计的彩色玻璃。
这座建筑的最终设计一度引发批评，因为其与牛津的其他建筑不很相似。建筑历史学家霍华德·科尔文说哈里森的最初设计是“1930年最大的建筑灾难”，[8] 同时也因复古而被批为让牛津失去了“摆脱过去”的机会。[9] 1960年代被评为“牛津最大的沉闷纪念碑”[10] 高塔被认为是“笨拙的”，[11] 因重复的窗户而丧失了美感。旅行作家简·莫里斯说它“一开始就是个大杂烩”。[12] 不过同时也有少数正面反应。[13]
