投捕搭档

在一支棒球队当中，投手与捕手的组合被称为“投捕搭档”。

在棒球当中，投捕搭档（英语：battery）意指投手与捕手的组合关系，在英文里也称之为batterymen^[1]、batterymates等等。

历史

投捕搭档的英文battery首次出现于1860年代的亨利·查德威克（英语：Henry Chadwick (writer)），灵感来自于美国内战中使用的炮台，比喻投手团队的火力^[2]。随后这个术语演变成代表投捕之间的结合效率^[2]。
