巴达霍斯（西班牙语：Badajoz，西班牙语发音：[baðaˈxoθ]）是西班牙的城市。巴达霍斯是巴达霍斯省的省会。属埃斯特雷马杜拉自治区。摩尔人曾在此建立过要塞。巴达霍斯紧邻葡萄牙。从马德里开往里斯本的铁路也途径这里。
历史
古代
巴达霍斯地区从史前时期开始就有人居住。该地区出土的巨石墓的历史可以追溯到公元前4000年[3]，一些石碑可追溯到青铜时代晚期。[4]其他发现包括旧石器时代晚期的斧头和剑等武器，以及日常用品、手镯等首饰。[5]
在罗马共和国时期，巴达霍斯地区附近的埃斯特雷马杜拉属远西班牙行省管辖。[6]虽然在之后的罗马帝国历史文献上没有提到该地附近的定居点，但是考古学家也在该地区发现了罗马风格建筑，以及西哥特王国建筑遗迹。[7]
中世纪
巴达霍斯地区在中世纪摩尔人统治时期具有重要的城市地位。主要的统治者有倭马亚王朝和卡斯蒂利亚王国。
从公元8世纪开始直到11世纪初，倭马亚王朝一直控制着该地区。[8]根据官方资料，巴达霍斯城是由一名被驱逐流放出梅里达[9]的穆拉迪贵族伊本·马尔万，在约公元875年左右创立的。[10]在伊本·马尔万的统治之下，巴达霍斯地区成为了倭马亚王朝叛乱分子的活动据点，直到公元10世纪才消停。公元1021年（一说1031年[11]），巴达霍斯成为了一个小型穆斯林王国——巴达霍斯王国的首都，[12]当时人口约有25,000人[8]。在穆斯林统治期间，该城市被称为Baṭalyaws（阿拉伯语：بَطَلْيَوْس）。基督教统治者阿方索六世在1086年入侵巴达霍斯，并推翻了摩尔人的统治。除了1067年西非摩洛哥的穆拉比特王朝入侵占领之外，巴达霍斯后来又于1147年遭到了伊斯兰穆瓦希德王朝的军队入侵。[13]
巴达霍斯于1230年3月19日被莱昂的阿方索九世占领。[14]不久，阿方索十世在巴达霍斯建立了主教座。公元1336年，在阿方索十一世即位时期，葡萄牙王国阿方索四世的军队占领了巴达霍斯。[15]然而不久之后，包括桑卢卡尔-德巴拉梅达[15]第二领主胡安·阿隆索·佩雷斯在内的卡斯蒂利亚-莱昂军队从阿方索四世手下收回了巴达霍斯。
1369年，恩里克二世国王授予巴达霍斯领土于巴尔卡罗塔的领主桑切斯-巴达霍斯家族。[16]1485年，主教弗雷·贝多（Fray Pedro de Silva）在巴达霍斯建立了第一所医院。[17]它治疗了许多感染瘟疫的居民。在15世纪，这座城又历经了文艺复兴。1524年，西班牙王国和葡萄牙王国的谈判代表齐聚巴达霍斯旧市政厅，重新讨论各自领土范围的界定问题。参与的代表包括航海家塞瓦斯蒂安·卡伯特和胡安·塞瓦斯蒂安·埃尔卡诺等。[18]为了向葡萄牙王国展示对巴达霍斯的主权，西班牙国王腓力二世在1580年8月将精简的皇宫设施迁至巴达霍斯。然而短短的2个月后，安妮王后在这里离世，腓力二世也于12月痛苦地离开了巴达霍斯。[19][20]之后的几百年，这里一直平安无事。直到1640年的葡萄牙王政复古战争，将战火蔓延至巴达霍斯。[21]
1660-1811
从1660年开始，葡萄牙人对巴达霍斯及其堡垒的攻击没有消停过。1700年，西班牙哈布斯堡王朝国王卡洛斯二世去世，西班牙王位继承战争随即爆发。1705年，它被法兰西王国路易十四的孙子费利佩五世接管。[12][11]
西班牙独立战争期间，巴达霍斯曾在1808年和1809年被法国军队攻击。西班牙内战期间，巴达霍斯也发生过交战，最终弗朗哥军队战胜。
