嵌入 (化学)
嵌入（英语：Intercalation，或译插层）在化学上是指在两个分子或基团之间加入一个分子，过程可逆。例如DNA嵌入与石墨层间化合物（graphite intercalation compound）。
DNA嵌入
有许多分子可与生物体内的DNA发生交互作用，以配体为例，嵌入是配体分子与DNA的一种结合方式，当配体大小符合碱基对之间的空隙时，就有可能发生嵌入。通常嵌入DNA的配体是多环类、芳香类，或是平面分子。常见的例子包括溴化乙锭、原黄素（proflavine）、道诺霉素（daunomycin）、阿霉素（doxorubicin）、沙利窦迈（thalidomide）等。这些物质可应用于化学治疗，抑制癌细胞的生长。
