尼尔·莫里斯·弗格森（英语：Neil Morris Ferguson，1968年—）是英国流行病学家。他是一位数学生物学教授，专门研究于人类和动物中传播的流行病学。他是伦敦帝国学院下属的阿卜杜勒·拉蒂夫·贾米尔疾病与紧急情况分析学院（Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analytics，J-IDEA）的主任、公共卫生学院传染病流行病学系主任以及医学系学术发展副院长。弗格森使用数学模型提供了几种疾病暴发的数据，包括英国2009年猪流感暴发和2016年西非的伊波拉病毒疫情。他的工作还包括对蚊媒疾病的研究，其中包括兹卡热、黄热病、骨痛热症和疟疾。
生平
2020年2月，在中国暴发2019冠状病毒疾病疫情的时候，弗格森及其团队使用统计模型估计，认为中国已检测到的病例严重不足。[1][2]
2020年3月18日，弗格森报告称自己已出现2019冠状病毒疾病的症状，并已经自我隔离。[3]若他真的被感染的话，他可能是在出席两天前举行的唐宁街新闻发布会上感染的，曾与首相鲍里斯·约翰逊接触。[4]
