室女座61b的质量下限是地球质量的18.2倍,因此可能是类似天王星和海王星的类木行星。它和母恒星的距离只有0.2175天文单位,相当于日地距离的五分之一,轨道离心率0.14。室女座61c于2009年12月14日由凯克天文台英澳天文台径向速度法发现[1][2]
