创作背景
《奇异果》是专辑其中一首比较明显以性为主题的歌曲，歌词包括香烟、蒸馏酒、致命女郎与一夜情。斯泰尔斯在接受BBC广播一台访问时指歌曲“作为玩笑而开始，但现在是我其中一首最爱的歌曲。这是我在精力充沛的时候为专辑写下的首批歌曲[4]。”
音乐影像带
歌曲的音乐影像带由摄制二人组Us拍摄，于2017年11月8日公开。在影片中，斯泰尔斯与一群孩子在温布尔登大通小学进行一场蛋糕投掷大赛。其中童星演员博·加兹登打扮成斯泰尔斯的女版样子[5]。
现场表演
2017年5月，斯泰尔斯在《詹姆斯·柯登深夜秀》上演唱了《奇异果》[6]。他在11月于《英国版X音素》演唱了歌曲[7]，并在好莱坞露天剧场举办的CBS电台第5届年度“我们能活下去演唱会”上演唱了歌曲，该演出为纪念全国乳腺癌宣传月而举行，所得款项将捐给年轻人生存联盟[8]。同月，他于在上海梅赛德斯-奔驰文化中心举行的2017年《维多利亚的秘密时尚秀》上演唱歌曲而展开活动[9]。
