乔治·西默农（法语：Georges Simenon，法语发音：[ʒɔʁʒ simnɔ̃]；1903年2月13日—1989年9月4日），比利时法语作家，出生于比利时的列日，一生中创作非常多有关推理的著作（超过450部），可能是20世纪最多产的一位作家。西默农成功的塑造朱尔·迈格雷探长（Jules Maigret）这位名侦探，并以他为主角创作一系列的小说，首部小说《Pietr-le-Letton》于1931年出版。许多作品后来改编成电影及电视剧。1947年诺贝尔文学奖得主法国作家安德烈·纪德、亨利·米勒与历史学家埃里克·霍布斯鲍姆对于西默农的作品皆有高度的评价，T·S·艾略特也曾经表达对于梅格雷探长的喜爱。
