促肾上腺皮质激素（英语：adrenocorticotropic hormone, ACTH）——或简称促皮质素（corticotropin）——是一种多肽促激素并分泌于脑垂体前叶[1]，是下丘脑-脑垂体-肾上腺皮质轴（hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis）中的重要化学物质。其主要作用是增加肾上腺皮质对皮质醇的分泌和释放，ACTH也与许多生物体的昼夜节律有关。[2]
功能
ACTH经由主要位于肾上腺细胞表面上的ACTH受体，来刺激肾上腺皮质合成多种皮质类固醇，其中主要是糖皮质激素，其他还有雄性素等性激素。
