下颌神经（mandibular nerve），为三叉神经最大且最下方的分支。由于三叉神经为第五对脑神经（CN V），故下颌神经常被标注为V3。
解剖
[编辑]下颌神经的感觉支来自于三叉神经节外侧，由于十分粗大，在解剖上相当明显。离开神经节后，该分支会经由卵圆孔离开颅腔。而较细小的运动支会从神经节下方进入卵圆孔，在离开颅腔后，与感觉支合并为下颌神经。
下颌神经会经过内侧的腭帆张肌和外侧的外翼肌之间，并分出脑膜支和内翼神经。此后神经分为前后两支，前支较细，后支较粗。
前支会支配四条主要的咀嚼肌，以及颊神经掌控的脸颊感觉。后支则主要为感觉神经，主要分支有三条，分别是耳颞神经、舌神经，和下齿槽神经，而支配的肌肉则有颏舌肌和二腹肌前腹

- From the main trunk of the nerve (before the division)
- muscular branches, which are efferent nerves for the medial pterygoid, tensor tympani, and tensor veli palatini muscles (motor)[1]

- 深颞神经（运动神经），分为前后。
- 颊神经 （感觉神经）
- 外翼肌神经（运动神经）
- 来自后支
- 耳颞神经（感觉神经）
- 舌神经 （感觉神经）
- 下齿槽神经（混合神经），会分出属运动支的颏舌肌支，支配颏舌肌和二腹肌前腹
