安慶，中國安徽一地級市，或名宜城，簡稱宣，方圓一萬三千三百平方公里，二〇一一年凡六百一十八萬口。安徽之名，安慶、徽州合璧也。

春秋時代，此地爲皖國，後爲江北重鎮皖城。宋慶元元年升舒州安慶軍為舒州安慶府，府治潛山；嘉定十年安慶知府黃干築安慶城，以禦金兵。明世屬南直隸。清康熙六年，置安徽省，省治安慶，乾隆二十五年，安徽布政使司自江寧還安慶。民國二十七年，降為市，以合肥為省會。

轄三區、一市、七縣。
