太戊，一作大戊、大太戊、天戊，殷商之帝王也，子姓，諱伷，太甲之孫，太庚之子，雍己之弟也。

以伊陟為相，亳有祥桑穀，共生於朝，一謩大拱。太戊懼，問伊陟。伊陟曰，臣聞妖不勝德，帝其修德。太戊從之，祥桑枯死。在位七十五年崩，稱中宗。

子仲丁、外壬、河亶甲，仲丁繼立。
