James Kottak (1962–2024) var en amerikansk trommeslager.
Han var medlem i det tyske rockebandet Scorpions fra 1996 til 2016, da han ble erstattet av Mikkey Dee og selv etter hvert fant tilbake til Kingdom Come.[4] Han spilte med blant annet Montrose, Warrant og Kingdom Come. Han spilte også for Dio under sju konserter i California i februar 1997, da bandets faste trommeslager Vinny Appice var syk.[5]
