NGC 8 သည် ကြယ်စုတန်း ပီဂါဆု ကြယ်စုတန်းတွင်ရှိသော ဒွိကြယ်စနစ် (K5 and F8) ဖြစ်သည်။[၁] ယင်းအား ၁၈၆၅ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလတွင် Otto Struve ဆိုသူမှ ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိခဲ့သည်။[၂] NGC 9 မှ 2.7 arc minute နီးပါးခန့်ဝေးကွာပြီး ကြယ်တို့သည် ဆက်နွယ်မှု ရှိသယောင် မထင်ရပေ။[၃]
