Psammobates geometricus | |
Psammobates ialah genus kura-kura yang berasal dari Selatan Afrika.[2] Kura-kura ini mendiami kawasan gersang dan separa gersang di selatan Afrika. Pemakanan dan habitatnya seperti itu menyebabkan haiwan ini sukar dibela. Populasi kesemua spesies ini terjejas disebabkan oleh aktiviti pengumpulan haram dan pemusnahan habitat mereka, Namun, spesies Psammobates geometricus adalah spesies yang paling terancam.
