Asid hidrofluorik merupakan larutan air berasid bagi sebatian hidrogen fluorida, HF. Asid hidrofluorik merupakan pelopor bagi kebanyakan sebatian fluorin serta ubat-ubatan dan bahan-bahan seperti PTFE serta fluorin asli. Asid ini merupakan asid yang sangat reaktif dan perlu disimpan dalam balang plastik kerana boleh bertindak balas dengan bahan-bahan kaca serta logam.[2]
