അക്കാ സെല്ലോവിയാന മൈർട്ടേസീ കുടുംബത്തിലെ മിർട്ൽ ജീനസിലെ സപുഷ്പിയാണ്. തെക്കൻ ബ്രസീൽ, കിഴക്കൻ പരാഗ്വേ, ഉറുഗ്വേ, വടക്കൻ അർജന്റീന, കൊളംബിയ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയാണ്.[2] ഫിജോവ, പൈനാപ്പിൾ ഗ്വാവ എന്നിവ ഇവയുടെ സാധാരണനാമങ്ങളാണ്.
