Pseudepigrapha Clementis

Pseudepigrapha Clementis vel Pseudoclementina sive brevius Clementina sunt apocrypha Novi Testamenti, quae in duabus recensionibus nota sunt, altera Graeca (Homiliae pseudoclementinae), altera Latina (Recognitiones pseudoclementinae), versa ex Graeco in Latinum a Rufino Aquileiensi (saeculo quinto ineunte). Attestationes antiquissimae in litteris Eusebii Caesariensis[1] (sub annum 325) et Basilii Magni[2] (ante annum 379) inveniuntur. Uterque opus a fonte communi saeculi tertii repetit, qui scripto Iudaeo-Christiano saeculi secundi exeuntis (in Rec. 1,27-71 conservato) insertus est.

Hae litterae, licet origo compositioque adhuc maxime disputetur, magni ponderis sunt ad "Ecclesiam ex circumcisione" (i.e. Iudaeo-Christianos) saeculi tertii cognoscendam.
