꼬마긴수염고래는 수염고래소목에 고래의 일종이다. 꼬마긴수염고래아과(Neobalaenidae)의 1속 1종이다. 몸길이 6-6.5m에 3-3.5t으로 수염고래 중에서는 가장 작은 편에 속한다.
