Tigranakert (Armenia: Տիգրանակերտ) adalah kota didekat Silvan modern di Turki, sebelah timur Diyarbakır. Kota ini didirikan oleh Kaisar Armenia Tigranes yang Agung pada abad ke-1 SM. Tigranakert didirikan sebagai ibu kota baru Kerajaan Armenia. Untuk mendirikan kota ini, Tigranes memaksa banyak orang pergi dari rumah mereka untuk membentuk populasi.[1]
