The Magnificent Ambersons adalah sebuah film drama periode Amerika tahun 1942, film fitur kedua yang diproduksi dan disutradarai oleh Orson Welles. Welles mengadaptasi novel tahun 1918 pemenang Penghargaan Pulitzer karya Booth Tarkington tentang kekayaan keluarga Midwestern dan perubahan sosial yang dibawa oleh zaman kendaraan bermesin.[5] Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Joseph Cotten, Dolores Costello, Anne Baxter, Tim Holt, Agnes Moorehead dan Ray Collins, dengan Welles menyediakan narasinya.[6]
