Resolusi 1157 Dewan Keamanan Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa, diadopsi pada 20 Maret 1998. Usai mengulang Resolusi 696 (1991) dan seluruh resolusi berikutnya seputar Angola, DKPBB meningkatkan jumlah polisi militer yang memantau menjadi 83 personil untuk membantu pemerintahan Angola dan UNITA menyelesaikan masalah-masalah dalam proses perdamaian dan mengurangi unsur militer Misi Pengamat Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa di Angola (United Nations Observer Mission in Angola, MONUA).[1]
