Deutsch: Der goldene Pfahl ist dem Wappen der Markgrafschaft Burgau entnommen, zu der die Herrschaft Seifriedsberg gehörte. Sie war auch der wichtigste Grundherr im Gemeindegebiet. Das Kreuz stellt die beiden geistlichen Herrschaften im Ort dar: das Kloster St. Moritz in Augsburg und das Damenstift Edelstetten. Die Farben Rot und Silber weisen zum einen auf das Hochstift Augsburg hin sowie auf die Grafen von Oettingen, die seit 1751 endgültig die Herrschaft von Seifriedsberg innehatten. Das Haus steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Er leitet sich von Baldeshusin ab und bedeutet Bei den Häusern eines Baldo. Die grüne Farbe erinnert an den landwirtschaftlichen Charakter der Gemeinde. |
