Un kibbutz[1] (do hebreo קיבוץ, que significa "asemblea" ou "xuntos") é unha comunidade ou vila colectivista de Israel baseada tradicionalmente na agricultura. O primeiro kibbutz, Degania Alef, foi creado en 1909.[2] Hoxe en día, o traballo agrícola foi parcialmente substituído por sectores como fábricas industriais e empresas de tecnoloxía.[3] Os kibbutz comezaron sendo comunidades utópicas baseadas nunha combinación do socialismo e o sionismo. En décadas recentes, algúns kibbutz foron privatizados e o modo de vida comunal mudou. Un membro dun kibbutz denomínase kibbutznik en hebreo.

En 2010 había 270 kibbutzs en Israel, o 9 % da rede industrial do país e o 40 % da súa produción agrícola. No conxunto da economía supuñan o 6 % do PIB de Israel en 2010.[4]
