O castro de Abegondo ou Agra do Castro, é un castro situado no lugar do Castro na parroquia de Abegondo, no concello coruñés de Abegondo.
Descrición
[editar | editar a fonte]O castro de Abegondo consta dun recinto fortificado de planta ovalada. Cunha orientación no eixe maior de NL-SO. O eixe maior mide uns 120 metros e o menor uns 100 m. Está defendido basicamente por dous terrapléns con foxo. Conta cun singular sistema de acceso, que se efectúa por medio dunha rampla que cobre o foxo e penetra na croa pasando entre dúas torres ou bastións, situada ao NL.[1]
Arqueoloxía
[editar | editar a fonte]Non se ten noticia de que se realizasen campañas arqueolóxicas. Na actualidade non está visitable.
