Discussion:Jarjara
Voici le texte de l'entrée du dico dont est tirée l'article:
- JARJARA. Term used in the theatre for Indra's flagstaff, brought onstage ceremonially at the consecration of a theatre building and prior to every performance for ritual enactment of Indra's victory over the demons. As such, it represents Indra and his divine power, invoked for protection of the theatre and actors as they engage in a performance which, according to the Nātya Śāstra is sacred and as meritorious as making sacrificial offerings (Yajña).
