Jump blues
Jump blues estas rapida stilo de bluso, kutime ludita de malgrandaj grupoj kiuj uzas saksofonon aŭ latunajn blovinstrumentojn. Ĝi estis populara en la 1940-aj jaroj kaj estis pioniro de ritmenbluso kaj rokenrolo.[1] Aprezado al jump blues estis plinovigita en la 1990-aj jaroj kiel parto de la revivado de svingo.
Jump blues evoluis el la muziko de ĵazbandegoj kiaj tiuj de Lionel Hampton and Lucky Millinder. Tiuj bandoj de la komenco de la 1940-aj jaroj produktis muzikistojn kiaj Louis Jordan, Jack McVea, Earl Bostic, kaj Arnett Cobb.[2]
