The 2010 Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts.[2] It was the 37th edition of the event known that year as the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships, and was part of the 500 Series of the 2010 ATP World Tour. It was held at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan, from October 4 through October 11, 2010.[1] First-seeded Rafael Nadal won the singles title.
