Каралавае мора — мора Ціхага акіяна, якое ляжыць паміж берагоў Аўстраліі, Новай Гвінеі і Новай Каледоніі. Плошча паверхні — 4068 тыс. км ². Максімальная глыбіня 9174 м. Мае шматлікія каралавыя рыфы і астравы, такія як астравы Уіліс, Трэграс, Бамптан, Чэстэрфілд. Адным з найбольш вядомых рыфаў з'яўляецца Вялікі бар’ерны рыф, самы вялікі каралавы рыф у свеце. Дно моцна расчлянёнае. Цячэнні ўтвараюць цыкланальны кругаварот, на заходняй ускраіне якога бярэ пачатак Усходне-Аўстралійскае цячэнне. Тэмпература вады на поўдні ад 19°С у жніўні да 24°С у лютым, на поўначы да 28°С. Салёнасць да 35,5. Прылівы няправільныя, паўсутачныя (да 7,2 м).
