Emil Berliner (alm. Emil Berliner‎; 20 may 1851[2][3][…], Hannover[1] – 3 avqust 1929[2][4][…], Vaşinqton) — Alman və amerikan ixtiraçısı, 29 sentyabr 1887-ci ildə qramofonun ilk patentini almışdır.

1899-cu ildə Emil Berliner Peterburqda səsyazma studiyası açır. 1901-ci ildə "Emil Berliners Qrammofon" şirkəti əsasında "Qrammofon" adlı ingilis səhmdar cəmiyyəti yaranır. Gələn il "Qrammofon"un bölmələri Moskvada, Kiyevdə, Varşavada, Riqa və Tiflisdə açılır. Həmin il Riqada qramvallar buraxan fabrik tikilir.
