K子彈

K子彈是一款採用工具鋼彈芯的7.92×57毫米反坦克步槍彈。它被設計成主要在7.92毫米口徑的標準型毛瑟步槍上發射。在第一次世界大戰期間，它曾被德國陸軍士兵用於對付英軍的Mark I 坦克。平均而言，K子彈於100米的距離內，有三分之一的機會可擊穿12–13 mm厚的裝甲。在1917年6月的梅森戰役中，K子彈也曾被用於對付當時首次被英軍使用，擁有更厚重裝甲的Mark IV 坦克。^[1]

衍生型

在第一次世界大戰和第二次世界大戰中，德國研發了不少衍生型號，其中包括︰

S.m.K.	Spitzgeschoss mit Kern	標準型的鋼芯穿甲彈在彈藥的底火位置，環繞底火的環被塗上紅色^[2]
S.m.K.H.^[3]	Spitzgeschoss mit Kern, Hart	以碳化鎢彈芯取代工具鋼芯包括底火在內的整個彈藥底部都被漆成紅色。自1939年後，只有底火位置被塗成紅色。^[2]
S.m.K. L'spur ^[3]	Spitzgeschoss mit Kern, Leuchtspur	此彈藥的鋼芯較短，以及包含曳光彈成分。它們有指定的發光顏色，例如德語gelb，即是指"黃色"。彈藥底部環繞底火的部分被塗上紅色，以及彈尖部分被塗上黑色。^[2]
S.m.K. Ub.m.Zerl.^[3]	Spitzgeschoss mit Kern Übungsmunition mit Zerleger	十分罕見的訓練彈，在達到一定距離後會自動分散。

在戰間期，波蘭曾仿製S.m.K.型彈藥並稱為 P子彈 (przeciwpancerny)，同時也製造了一款附有曳光彈成分的反坦克步槍彈，稱為PS (przeciwpancerny smugowy).^[2]
