Fusion Drive
Fusion Drive 是苹果公司开发的一种数据存储技术，这种技术融合了机械硬盘（HDD）和NAND闪存驱动器（SSD）[註 1]。它结合闪存驱动和机械硬盘為单独的逻辑卷宗[1] [註 2]。系统会自动管理访问最频繁的应用程序、文件、照片或者其他数据来存储在闪存驱动器裡，而将很少访问或者使用的文件留在机械硬盘上[2]。例如经常使用电子表格程序，系统將会自动将其移动到闪存驱动器上以让用户能更快的访问。这将提升在执行磁盘密集型程序时速度[3] 。
適用產品
[编辑]蘋果宣布2012年後的部分iMac和Mac mini型號可以使用 Fusion Drive 技术。操作系统仅支持OS X Mountain Lion或更新版本[2]。
