馬修·卡特（英語：Matthew Carter，1937年—），出身於英國倫敦的世界級字型設計大師，知名字型如Georgia、Tahoma、Verdana、Meiryo等都是他的作品。馬修對字型的製造與發展貢獻良多，現居於美國麻州劍橋。
生平
[编辑]1981年與同事共同創辦了Bitstream公司，為電腦字型研發的領導廠商之一。1991年離職後再與同事創辦Carter & Cone Type公司，經營銷售自己所創作的字型。
