1990年，她首次在電視機前亮相，與弟弟Garry共同拍攝英國天然氣的廣告。[22]雪莉兒從小時候即非常喜歡跳舞，她自4歲就開始學序列舞，[23]並在9歲時加入 英國皇家芭雷舞蹈團的培育學校。[24]
