防空作戰、对空作战、防空战或对空战等是针对空战的战场反应，北约将其定义为“旨在消除或降低敌方空中行动有效性的所有措施”[1]。 它包括水面、地下（潜艇发射）和空中武器系统、相关传感器系统、指挥和控制装置以及被动措施（例如防空氣球）。 它可用于保护任何地点的海军、陆军和空军。 然而，对于大多数国家来说，主要努力往往是国土防御。北约将机载防空称为反空，将海军防空称为防空战。导弹防御是防空作战的延伸，使防空系统适应拦截飞行中任何射弹任务的举措也是如此。
