镁钛矿是一种镁钛氧化物矿物，化学式为MgTiO3。為钛铁矿族的成员。晶體屬於三方晶系，通常不透明，顏色呈黑色至红黑色。
它于 1892 年首次被描述[5] ，出现在锡兰宝石砾石砂矿中。它以苏格兰地质学家阿奇博尔德·盖基爵士（Archibald Geikie，1835-1924 年）的名字命名。 它出现在变质的不纯镁灰岩、源自超镁铁岩的蛇纹岩、金伯利岩和碳酸岩中。伴生矿物包括金红石、尖晶石、斜辉石、钙钛矿、透辉石、蛇纹石、镁橄榄石、水镁石、水滑石、绿泥石和方解石。
