针吻鱼目（学名：Aspidorhynchiformes，意为"shield snout form"）是一类已灭绝的史前真骨鱼，由Bleeker于1859年描述。

该目的化石在美国、法国、意大利、俄罗斯、萨斯喀彻温省、艾伯塔省、北达科他州、蒙大拿州、怀俄明州和乌兹别克斯坦均有发现，这些化石中年代最早的是167.7百万年前的针吻鱼属，最晚的是66 百万年前的Belonostomus longirostris。
文库喙鱼属可能与针吻鱼科密切相关，但它与其他两个该科的确定属有一些不同。尽管它可能是针吻鱼科的成员，但又被认为可能与针吻鱼科不同。
